Sunflower oil provides smoothing and moisturizing benefits and works especially well in lighter emulsions. It also helps reduce acne caused by excess oil and sebum buildup. Not to be confused with highly processed industrial seed oils, ours are organic, first cold-pressed, and sourced in the US.
LICORICE ROOT (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
In this formula, licorice root serves as an emollient and soothing agent, helping to calm and comfort the skin.
GRAPE SEED OIL
Grape seed oil is nourishing and moisturizing due to its high linoleic acid content. It also functions as an emulsifier. Not to be confused with highly processed industrial seed oils, ours are organic, first cold-pressed, and sourced in the US.
VEGETABLE GLYCERYL STEARATE
Derived from coconut oil, this ingredient serves as a thickening, dispersing, and emulsifying agent in skincare formulations.
VEGETABLE CETEARYL GLUCOSIDE
A plant-derived emulsifier used to add body and smooth texture to skincare products; also functions as an emollient. Made from coconut oil and sugarcane.
CAPRYLIC ACID
Found in coconut extract, caprylic acid is used for its emollient properties. It adds slip and smoothness to formulations without relying on chemical or synthetic texturizers.
GLYCINE
Glycine is an amino acid that enhances texture in skincare formulas. As approximately 30% of collagen is composed of glycine, it supports the skin’s natural collagen production.
ROSE OIL (Rosa damascena, Rosa centifolia, Rosa gallica)
Rose oil helps stabilize skin pH, supports moisture retention, and encourages healthy cell growth. It is especially beneficial for mature, dry, and sensitive skin.
JASMINE OIL (Jasminum officinale, Jasminum grandiflorum, Jasminum sambac)
Jasmine oil is known for its moisturizing, soothing, and healing properties, making it effective for dry, oily, irritated, or sensitive skin types.
XANTHAN GUM
A natural thickening and stabilizing agent that enhances the smooth, even texture of the formula. Ours is made from broccoli and cabbage.
TOCOPHEROL (Natural Vitamin E)
Vitamin E is a rich antioxidant with photo-protective qualities. It supports moisture retention and helps improve the appearance of rough, dry, or damaged skin.
LECITHIN
A natural moisture-binding ingredient found in all living organisms. Lecithin helps stabilize emulsions and attracts phyto-lipids to bind with water, smoothing and protecting the skin. Made from sunflower seeds.
HOMEOPATHIC COMPLEX
Pulsatilla 24X, 30X (Wind Flower): Supports calming of hormonal or inflammatory skin concerns.
Graphites 12C, 24C, 60C (Plumbago): Traditionally used to support chronic dryness, eczema, and acne.
Chamomilla 12C, 30X (German Chamomile): Helps soothe irritated skin; offers natural anti-inflammatory benefits.
