ZINC OXIDE (ZinClear™)
ZinClear™ zinc oxide dispersions represent a breakthrough in mineral sun protection. Their unique particle structure offers exceptional transparency—greater than even many nano-sized particles—while remaining non-nano. They provide full-spectrum UVA and UVB protection and achieve high SPF values without the use of chemical UV absorbers.
TITANIUM DIOXIDE
Titanium dioxide is used for its high refractive index, strong UV-absorbing capabilities, and excellent stability under ultraviolet light. These qualities enhance its effectiveness in protecting the skin from UV radiation.
CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE
A lightweight, silky emollient derived from coconut oil that moisturizes, softens, and replenishes the skin.
CETEARYL GLUCOSIDE
A gentle, plant-derived emulsifier made from coconut fatty alcohols and glucose. It helps maintain the skin’s natural moisture balance while aiding in the delivery of active ingredients.
POLYSORBATE 60
A coconut-derived thickening and emulsifying agent that also helps break down excess sebum.
VEGETABLE GLYCERIN
A natural humectant that draws moisture from the air into the skin. It hydrates the outermost layer, speeds up repair and barrier recovery, protects against irritants, and helps soothe inflammation. Made from coconut.
SQUALANE (from Olive Oil)
Squalane is a highly refined, lightweight oil that mimics the skin’s natural sebum. It is a powerful antioxidant, provides lubrication, protects against environmental stressors, and replenishes dry or depleted skin—especially after sun exposure.
POLYGLYCERYL-6 POLYRICINOLEATE
A vegetable-derived emulsifier and skin-conditioning agent made by combining plant-based glycerin with ricinoleic acid from castor oil. It provides smooth spreadability, enhances product stability, and creates a cushioned, luxurious texture on the skin.
ISONONYL ISONONANOATE
A lightweight, silky emollient naturally found in cocoa and lavender oils. It leaves the skin soft, smooth, and conditioned.
MAGNESIUM ALUMINUM SILICATE
A naturally occurring, purified clay used as a thickening and stabilizing agent.
XANTHAN GUM
A plant-derived gelling and texturizing agent that helps stabilize and thicken skincare formulas while providing a smooth, even application. Ours is made from broccoli and cabbage.
GLYCERYL ISOSTEARATE
A plant-derived fatty acid ester made by combining glycerin with isostearic acid sourced specifically from coconut oil. It functions as a skin-conditioning emollient and natural emulsifier, helping products spread smoothly while softening and nourishing the skin.
POLYHYDROXYSTEARIC ACID
A natural wax derived from castor oil. Used as a suspending agent to ensure even dispersion of mineral sunscreen particles, helping maintain uniform SPF protection.
ALUMINA
A naturally occurring inert mineral (aluminum oxide) found in rocks, clay, soil, and even fruits and vegetables. It is not the same as aluminum metal. In skincare formulas, alumina is used safely as a thickener, absorbent, and stabilizer in mineral-based products.
TOCOPHERYL ACETATE (D-Alpha Vitamin E)
A potent antioxidant that protects skin lipids from free-radical and oxidative damage. Helps condition, soothe, and support healthy skin.
GLYCINE SOJA OIL
A refined plant oil extracted from soybeans. Unlike dietary soy, this skincare-grade oil contains no phytoestrogens and is considered non-hormonal. It is valued for its vitamin-rich, moisturizing, and skin-softening properties, helping support a healthy barrier and smooth, hydrated skin.
ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF JUICE POWDER

ALLANTOIN
Derived from comfrey leaves, allantoin is anti-inflammatory and promotes the healing of minor wounds. Commonly used in sun care, anti-acne, and clarifying products to support healthy skin recovery.
POTASSIUM SORBATE
A mild, naturally derived preservative from sorbic acid found in bananas. Used as a clean alternative to parabens.
TRISODIUM ETHYLENEDIAMINE DISUCCINATE
A naturally derived chelating agent made from sugar beets. It gently binds and removes heavy metals, enhances antioxidant performance, and helps keep the formula stable and effective.
DMAE (Dimethylaminoethanol)
A naturally occurring compound found in small amounts in cold-water fish such as salmon, sardines, and anchovies. In skincare, it functions as an antioxidant membrane stabilizer that helps firm, smooth, and brighten the skin. DMAE is especially effective for minimizing fine lines around the eyes and forehead and promoting a lifted, more toned appearance.
CITRIC ACID

A 100% natural, plant-derived antimicrobial preservative created through radish root fermentation. Helps protect formulas from harmful bacteria.
DICAPRYLYL ETHER
A lightweight emollient derived from caprylic acid found in coconut oil. Leaves the skin soft, smooth, and conditioned.
1,2-HEXANEDIOL
A gentle moisture-binding humectant and coupling agent sourced from coconut oil. It helps stabilize formulations, improve texture, and enhance hydration. Known for its excellent safety profile (EWG score of 1), it is well tolerated even by sensitive skin.
CAPRYLYL GLYCOL
A moisturizing, conditioning alcohol derived from caprylic acid—a fatty acid naturally found in coconut oil.

A polyhydroxy acid (PHA) derived from beet sugars. Rich in water-attracting hydroxyl groups that deeply hydrate and strengthen the skin barrier. Provides antioxidant protection and, according to clinical studies, offers up to 50% protection against UV-induced oxidative stress and elastin breakdown.
